Ramen Update: Week #1

I’ve gotten through a week of eating Ramen as my primary food group. I thought this experiment would be fun, and it is a little, but I’m definitely feeling the sodium. I drink a lot of water as it is, and I’m feeling extremely dehydrated and my lips are really chapped (more so than normal this time of the year).

I’ve been taking vitamins and other supplements, but I feel like I am still missing out on some nutritional needs. Overall, I feel kinda crappy, though I don’t know if it’s due to the seasons changing or what. I’ve also lost weight, a good couple of pounds. But, I started going to the gym again, and that could be the reason for the weight loss.

Generally, I’ve only been eating ramen once a day, but as my main meal. Sometimes it leaves me with an uneasy feeling in my stomach and it’s my only meal of the day. I did not record every meal like I was supposed to (shame on me), but the gist is:

-granola bar for breakfast

-cup noodles for lunch

-handful of chips for dinner

or lunch and dinner vice versa.

I’ve also added other meals including, a slice of pizza, and taco bell (to keep up to par with the quality of food). And I did go out one night and had a salad (actual healthy food for a change).

I kind of feel like I’m dying a little on the inside, and my appeal for food really isn’t very strong at the moment.

To help myself feel better (both physically and mentally), I restocked my supply of gummy vitamins. (Don’t judge me, they were on sale and I had coupons.) The Heroes ones taste better, and the Hannah Montana ones have a questionable, very phallic shaped, microphone gummy.
