Detox Yo Body – Week 1 {Yoga Challenge}

There have been awesome poses so far in this challenge. As much as I love working on back bends, flexibility, and handstands, these are the types of poses that are my go to every single day. I like poses that you can rest in, take a few breaths, and then go further. I love just stretching/twisting and being able to mentally relax my body into a pose.

On May 1st, it’ll be my one year anniversary of doing yoga (almost) every single day. Last year on the first of May, I started a 31 day challenge with different poses that a few friends and I randomly picked. June was when I started doing Kino and Kerri’s monthly yoga challenges. It’s crazy it’s been a whole year already. I think I’m going to post some before and after progress pictures. I haven’t really looked back at the past challenge pictures much, so it’ll be interesting to see.
